How to order a sketch by Mac.
Step One:
Go to our shop page and select and purchase a theme, including any delivery charges applicable, an apply any discount code related to any of our promotions. You also have the option to select a frame size at an additional cost or, if no selection is made we will send you 3 inkjet prints of our hand drawn original on crafted linen paper.
Step Two:
Your request is completed by the emailing of up to three quality jpeg images via, WeTransfer.com who handle large file emails. A Link is provided. This email service is free. Please remember to put your name and delivery address in the message box.
Images: You can supply image files from professional photographers or good quality crisp images from your phone, provided they are are a pixel size beyond 500 px
Processing time & Delivery:
Despatch is within 5 working days from receipt of order. If delivery is within Ireland please allow 3 days from dispatch. If residing in the UK please allow 5 days from dispatch. If delivery is for overseas pleas allow 10 days. For further information please see our Conditions of service
Free Image files:
Within the month for purchase, as a token of our appreciation for your custom we will email you an image file for you to use on personal stationary, or for reproduction in whichever way you chose, be it a mug, t-shirt or to print and reframe for family and friends. Sketches:
Given the subjective nature of art as a form of expression, we provide the best likeness our skills can achieve from the images supplied, but we are required to stipulate that exacting likeness can never be fully guaranteed, as it is our art artistic impression from images supplied that is the final outcome. Our website showcases the likely outcomes and forms the basis of our supply contract with you. All commissions are undertaken with this mind and in good faith.
For speed and accuracy our pen and ink ‘dot’ style sketches are hand drawn directly from your images on translucent paper, again artistically enhanced by hand to emphasise detail and scanned to create hard copies. We then supply your with Ink Jet Prints and digital files. We retain the working copy should you misplace your files.
Images: On receipt of your image file, we will acknowledge that the image is workable and will commence service. Should it not be useable, we will email/text, to request alternatives, should this not be possible from conversations with the customer, we will fully re-fund. Should a period of 14 days elapse where we have had no contact with the person ordering by email or text we will refund 75%, retaining a portion for administrating this order and cancel any commitment to the fulfilment of the order.
Data Protection Policy
All images supplied to us for the commissioning of your order are deleted from our records within 12 weeks of receiving, having completed your order request. We do not store our final illustration data files in cloud format, but retain on hard memory devices. These we may retain on your behalf for a period of 10 years, should you wish to access them and for us to re-supply. We do not enter in to any correspondence or enact any reproduction of these files with anyone not contacting us via the email, or phone number supplied with your order. You can of course establish your own account in our shop cart facility for added security.
We do not pass on, or utilise any image we have created for promotion unless we have specific permission by email, even though it is regarded we retain the copy-write of the image.
Our general opinion on copy-write is that once you are in receipt of digital data emails of your illustration you are free to use this as you see appropriate. We are not liable for any further reproduction safeguards one this data has been passed into your possession.
Delivery:
On receipt of your images, we will require 5 days to process your commission, prior to dispatch. Should there be a run of ordering that is likely to extend this period we have the ability to limit quantities ordered, or even halt our on-line order taking to preserve the integrity of our service to customers.
Once we have completed the commission, we inform you by email or text confirming dispatch.
Shipping within the Irish mainland is included within the prices shown and is transacted through An Post. Uk Mainland, Europe and World Wide is charged at a supplementary postal cost. A postal receipt is always retained, however, if you require traceable delivery you can select a courier/trackable option.
We cannot be held responsible for goods returned to us for reasons of an incomplete address or for none delivery, be it the recipient was not at home to receive the item, was unable to collect, or the address provided was incorrect.
